The Tram

This weekend Craig and Blair drove down from Denver to hang out and play some video games. They drove in late Thursday night so we slept in Friday morning. When they woke up I took them on a little hike in the mountains near our home. It would have been a nice hike except we were attacked by gnats if we stopped moving. So we basically ran up and down the mountain and back to the car. They brought cute little turbo who was probably bitten by the gnats more than the rest of us.
Stephen was able to get off work early so we went to catch a movie and eat some pizza. Friday night we were supposed to play rock band, but we ended up playing Mario's Brawl for most of the night. Then the real fun began!!
We woke up early, headed to the gym, then took the $20 dollar tram up to the top of the Sandia's, the BIG mountains behind our apartment. We are at 5,000 feet and the Sandia's are at 10,000 feet. The tram takes about 15 minutes and is supposedly the longest tram in America. It was actually worth every penny. When we got to the top we ate an expensive lunch with horrible service then decided to take a hike around the top. It was beautiful. I tried to get a few good shots, but I didn't get any pictures of all four of us together. Instead, I have a bunch of random pictures. All in all we had a great weekend and can't wait to drive up Labor day weekend to hang out with Craig and Blair in Denver!
