The stomach flu wiped us out... and I have been really upset about some things in my life... so I haven't posted. As soon as I can come up with a positive, I will post about it. For now, we are all sick.

April so far...

Stephen playing with the boys... I love these moments.

Here are a few highlights from our lives this month. Things have been pretty smooth. A lot of changes are about to happen in our lives and we are a little apprehensive to say the least.

I had a buyer for my Condo back in February, but he decided the timing wasn't right. I wont lie, I was devastated; however, I truly believe when a door closes a window of opportunity will open. I put my house on the market for the first time and less than a week later I had TWO offers. I have submitted one to the bank and we shall see what happens.

Six years ago, Stephen signed up for Helicopter school. While attending the (very expensive) school, the owner took all the money and declared the school bankrupt. This was a huge set back for Stephen and I; however, as stated before, when a door closes, other opportunities open up. We moved to Albuquerque and now Stephen is working on the other side of the radio as and Air traffic controller. I might say this is a much better job and safer! When the school went bankrupt, this left all of the students with a hefty loan to pay back. Well, as none of the students received their full education they all decided to sue the school. After almost 4 years of being held up in the court system, the judge is about to make a decision. This will impact our lives tremendously. We will a) have to pay back all the loan, b) pay back a portion, c) or all will be forgiven. I am hoping for the C but most likely it will be B. This means we may need to move in order to cover the cost of the loan. We will know if May.

Edward loves Nolens toys more than Nolen.

Nolen just being a cute happy baby.

Counting Cars...

Not perfect, but so cute!

Ok, so he is a supported sitter, but he is sitting at just 5 months old!

5 Months

Nolen is officially 5 months old today. He is such a cute little (I mean, BIG) guy. He is over 17 pounds and 25 inches long. He can sit for a while with the bobby surrounding him and he can roll from belly to back but he doesn't choose to do it often. He is not sleeping as well as he did before, but I think he is just hungry. I love him, I love him, I love him. He is mild and calm. He is wonderful.

Do you ever feel...

Like your failing as a parent, spouse, or person? Do you ever wonder why you get upset about things that actually don't matter to you at all? Or is that just me? How do I stop just surviving and start living everyday instead of just some days? Isn't it interesting how postpartum depression can sneak up on you. I thought I had beat it this time, but here it is; staring me in the face. My excuse for feeling low with Edward was because he cried a lot. I can't claim that now. Nolen is such a wonderful baby. He sleeps. He is happy. He is lovable. So I guess I can say that my emotions are running away with me. I am sure, this too, shall pass.

I will put my universal apology out for all. Sorry if I said (or say) something that offends you or doesn't really make sense. I am trying to come back to myself. It may take some time, but I will get there.

"The saving ordinances received in the temple that permit us to someday return to our Heavenly Father in an eternal family relationship and to be endowed with blessings and power from on high are worth every sacrifice and every effort.” President Monson
