This year, Halloween sort of took a back seat to everything else that we have going on in our lives. We have been furiously running cross country and trying to stay on top of the rest of our daily responsibilities.
Stephen and I were invited to a Halloween party the night before Halloween, so we dressed up as a 1920's reporter and philanthropist. We had such a great time.
Stephen has wanted to get Nolen riding a dirt bike for a while, so for Nolen's upcoming 8th birthday, he bought Nolen a dirt bike. Before the boys set out to trick or treat, they road the dirt bike for the first time. Nolen did great!
Nolen wanted to be Yoshi again! Edward decided to be Mario and they set out on a fun night getting tons of candy! I stayed home and handed out candy. Not worth it since we only got 20 trick or treaters at our house. Our cultisac doesn't seem to go all out for Halloween anymore so no one ventures up to our house. I gave out full size candy bars because we had very little trick or treaters.
