Sons of Mystro!

We took a field trip today to watch some cool guys play the electric violin.  It was so cool.  The boys really liked the show.  There were some funny things about the performance but we laughed about them afterward.  Like the fact that they said, "Sons of Mystro" fifty thousand times during and after each song.  They asked the crowd, "How ya'll doing?" at least a hundred times during the performance.  They needed a script as it was obivious they are musicians and not really performers. 

Anyhow, after the show we planted a cherry tree in our back yard.  YAY!

Also, today I permed and dyed my eyelashes!!  Here's hoping they stay looking this good for the next two months!

State Fair Field Trip

This week we went to the New Mexico State Fair for our field trip.  The boys were more interested in riding the rides than seeing the exhibits, which was to be expected.  They had so much fun.  Nolen climbed a tough rock wall, then they rode in bubbles on top of water, went down a huge slide, then we bought wrist bands to ride all the rides we could before 4:00.

So much fun!
