Music School

Today was Edwards first day of his first ever "college course" put on by the University of New Mexico. The University has classes available to children of all ages every Saturday in almost every instrument you can imagine. Edwards class is just a basic music course but seems to offer a lot of fun (not to mention a place to go on Saturday's while Stephen works).

Edward is on day 3 with out the bottle. I have noticed some behavioral changes that are slightly disagreeable; however, this is what I expected. Since the bottle is no longer readily available he has been drinking less milk. I think I may give up...

Anxiety- distress or uneasiness of mind caused by fear of danger or misfortune.

I hate feeling anxious. Every time I lay down to take a little nap I have to ward off these feelings of Anxiety. I have nothing "really" to even feel anxious about.

18 months.

18 months have passed since the birth of my precious son, Edward. I really can not believe how much he has changed in the last year and a half. He is so grown up now.

1) Edward can say a handful of words but not too clearly.

2) He can feed himself!

3) He has a wild imagination when playing with cars.

4) He is finally starting to be a little more cuddly.

5) He has yet to ever murmur the word "Mom" but he sure loves saying "Daddy".

6) Speaking of Dad, He loves Stephen. He cries when he leaves each morning and runs up to him as soon as he walks through the door.

7) Edward is around 26 pounds and about 33 inches tall. We will find out for sure at the doctor on Monday.

8) He has a charming personality and will talk to any stranger.

9) He lights up my life.

10) He is amazing.

Edward is on his first day with out the bottle. It is nearly 3:30 PM and he hasn't needed one yet.

6 Months and growing

Things are moving right along with Baby Barnes #2. I really can not believe how fast time is slipping by. We are starting our 6 month! BB #2 will be here before I know it. I guess I need to start really preparing. I wonder if I have everything I need....

A little trip to Kingman

Edward and I flew to Vegas last week and then drove down to Kingman, Arizona to spent the week with my parents. We spend our days swimming in the pool (kiddie pool) and playing with cousins and BFF's. It was amazing, relaxing, and all together fun. We already miss Grandma and Grandpa S.

Dear 4:53 AM,

I am writing you this letter to break up with you. I no longer want to see you. I have started a new relationship with 6:00 AM and would like to keep that relationship strong. If I continually spend time with you, I am sure 6:00 AM will get a little jealous. We had some good years together but the time to break up is now. 5 months and growing

Little Baby Barnes #2 is growing right on track; and so am I. Up 6 pounds and wishing this was all the weight gain I would encounter. Yes, you may laugh now.
