I was crying all the way through that. It brought back all of the feelings I had while having Micah. The pain...the singing screams that turn to deep grunts...feeling like you are going to die - there's no way to survive...praying to Heavenly Father to either let you die, or to make it stop... The pushing... When you get to that point where you have to push the baby's head out, and you tell yourself, "There's nothing else I can do. This is happening. There's no way out."... The huge relief once the baby is out. Your body feels empty, but your spirit is high. It is *the* most amazing/spiritual experience anyone can ever have.
And that nurse telling you not to scream...to quiet down... OHHHHHHHHHHH...that makes me SO mad. I am so mad at conventional medicine...at hospitals...at the way they are trained. SO MAD! Why is the natural way - the way things were meant to happen - SO foreign to everyone?? It really makes my spirit feel sick.
Way to go Julie! I suppose you deserve a great birthing experience right? I would like to say that I hope to one day have an "al-naturale" birthing experience, but will do whatever the circumstances shall be. Love the name, love the face. So happy for your little family!

I didn't get through your whole delivery story yet, but did see you did it natural - mine was too! But not by choice. Great job, hope things are going well!
So glad that Heavenly Father blessed you with this beautiful, beautiful baby Nolen. He is truly sent from the pre-existence to live his life here on earth with the Barnes family. They will truly be wonderful parents to him.
