How is July almost over?

I can't.  I hate when summer ends.  This is it.  This is our last week of boring old summer.  We have no where to go and nothing to do.  Today, I went on an end of summer 35 mile bike ride with Mary Rogers.  It was beautiful.  We had our last day of swim team last Friday.  The boys didn't want to go to the swim meets this summer, so I am lucky they did one.  

I flew to Phoenix to spend the weekend with Chelsea in Mexico.  We had a blast.  I spent a few days getting to know all of her Arizona friends.  They are all wonderful.  She is surrounded by such good people.  

We also had our end of season party for track season.  Edward hated every minute of it, but Nolen had fun swimming with his friends.  I am so grateful we had a fun filled summer and that we have one more great trip before school starts.  I am 100% not ready for school to begin.  

 

Vegas times 3

 How many times can one person go to Las Vegas, Nevada in one year.  Well this is trip number three for me.  We headed to Vegas to celebrate Stephen's 43 birthday.  We met up with Craig and Blair on Wednesday.  It was extremely hot in Vegas, which was great!

We ate at STK, amazing, went to Meow wolf, crazy, and hung out by the pool.  I loved that we stayed in a nice, small, and cheap room.  That made this Vegas trip more manageable.  I am always glad when we get to spend time with Craig and Blair.

Trek

 While Stephen and I were in Las Vegas, the boys went on a fun church adventure so Wyoming.  They got to dress up as pioneers, sing songs, hike, and dance.  It was a 12 hour bus ride up and back, which the boys didn't like, but overall, they had a great time.  I only have photos from other people, as I wasn't there, but from the looks of it, the boys enjoyed their time away.

They experienced high winds, rain, freezing days (in July?), and then extreme heat.  Seems like they had a pretty realistic experience.
