Celebrating with Blair

 I adore Blair!  She is such an incredible person  and I love spending time with her.  We share a birthday so it was perfect to go to our favorite food place in Albuquerque for brunch.  Los Poblanos Farm knows how to do a good brunch!

43 for me!

 This year has been such a good year.  I have learned so much about myself this year.  I have made it a goal to attend the temple every single month at least once, read my scriptures every single day, and to try to learn more Spanish.  All of these goals have been met so far this year.  I have loved my 40's.  It is so incredible to spend my life with the people I truly care about.  I have been blessed beyond measure.  I love my life.  I spent my day just lounging around.  I ran 4.3 miles to celebrate this earthly milestone.  Stephen really did take care of me.  He loves me.  I love him.  I am so glad we found each other in this life time.  I truly count myself lucky to have found someone so amazing in my life.  

June, June, June!

 June just flew by! This is my favorite month of the year and I always look forward it.  I love June. I love the warm weather, I love the early mornings, and I love lazy summer days.  This is a little photo review of what has taken place while summer slips by at rapid pace. 

Nolen had his braces tightened and his tooth shaved down.  He was pretty miserable for a day. 

I still ride bikes with Mary twice a week.  In the summer we get to ride at 5:30 in the morning.  It is my favorite part of the day. 

Stephen and Edward have been painting some figurines for a game.  I guess it will be a while before we get to play. 

Craig and Blair had their pool redone and this we the first day we were able to swim at their house.  I love having them live so close to us!!

Girls Camp!!

 Wow, this was just what I needed!! I had to most amazing time at girls camp this year. I sort of wasn't looking forward to going but I am so glad I went.  It was incredible.  It was so well organized and we had so many fun events.  Mary Rogers and I were in charge of putting together an obstacle course.  We had a lot of ideas and really put them together well.  I shared a tent with Melissa Spencer, Kristen Taylor, and one other women I didn't know well.  I woke up and ran with some of the cougar girls one day and ran on my own the other days.  I am so grateful I went up to camp.  It was just what I needed.  

Edward and Nolen went to boys camp at the same time I was at girls camp.  They had the opposite experience than me.  They were rained on heavily nearly every day and the food wasn't good.  They said they were bored a lot and wanted to come home early.  This is sort of how they feel about church right now.  It has been a source of hardship for them. They took no photos.
