Obama reverses Bush abortion-funds policy
"WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama on Friday struck down the Bush administration's ban on giving federal money to international groups that perform abortions or provide abortion information — an inflammatory policy that has bounced in and out of law for the past quarter-century.
Obama's move, the latest in an aggressive first week reversing contentious Bush policies, was warmly welcomed by liberal groups and denounced by abortion rights foes.
The ban has been a political football between Democratic and Republican administrations since GOP President Ronald Reagan first adopted it 1984. Democrat Bill Clinton ended the ban in 1993, but Republican George W. Bush re-instituted it in 2001 as one of his first acts in office..."

Sorry to offend you...
IT IS NOT YOUR CHOICE! You made your choice when you decided to have sex. In that moment, you should have already made your decision to have a child or to not have a child. WHY should the government fund abortion in any way... don't we have enough money problems right now?
Enough said!
Feel free to argue with me.

Time...

Stephen Dancing 1998
I am sure I have said this 1,000 times to all of my friends... "Time goes by". I can not believe it is 2009. Not too long ago I would wonder if I was ever going to find an eternal companion. Now, almost three years later, I am one month away from bringing a new life in to the world.
Where has the time gone? Last year, January 2008, I was sitting in my beautiful condo alone missing my husband. I really thought time had stopped. I was alone. I have literally blinked my eyes and it is one year later.
When I reflect on where I have been, it feels as though I have seen the world; yet, I feel like the life time I have lived has disappeared without real significance. 2009 means my ten year high school reunion is a few short months away. 2009 means I will become a mother. 2009 means Stephen will become a father. 2009 brings us new life, hope, and laughter. I found a few pictures from the passed and thought about how much has changed and what will change in the next 10 years.

It's official.....
This baby will NOT go past his due date. Due to my factor 5 blood disorder, I will be induced no later than February 27th. So if you were planning to guess when this little guy will join the world... make an educated guess.
6 weeks and counting!

To work, or not to work?
Well this could be a very real possibility for me after I have the baby. I could be offered a job with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in April. I am still very unsure about what I am going to do. On one hand, we could really use the extra cash and on the other, I would have to manipulate my schedule to accommodate a baby and Stephen.
The question: Is it worth it?
I have to make this decision soon, this baby is due in seven weeks!!
