umph...

Still no positive in my current trial; however, I am hoping something will change soon. After years, LITERALLY YEARS, of talking about cutting bangs, I finally did it. I must say, so far, I love it!

Since I can't seem to come up with a positive in my trial, I will find some positives in my life.

1) Stephen

Stephen is truly a blessing. He is so helpful and a great provider for our family. He works hard and plays hard. He is my strength. I love him.

2) Edward

Edward is HIL.LAR.I.OUS! He cracks me up all day long. He is happiest when I am giving him all my undivided attention (which is hard with two kids and a husband). He loves going to time out and I think it has to do with my previous comment. Stephen and I spoil Edward but it is so hard to say no to that cute face and those perfect beautiful blue eyes! I love him.

3) Nolen

Nolen, Nolen, Nolen. I love Nolen. He is content. He is patient. He is loving. He is happy. He is everything I needed in a baby right now. He is a blessing. He brings so much positive in my life. I can not say anything negative out this cute little baby boy who shares the same beautiful blue eyes as his brother. I love him.

4) Family

I love my family. Period.

Spelling

I recently read a book called, "Bounce" and it has changed my entire outlook on this so called thing, "talent". Read it!

Also, for your enjoyment, here is Edward spelling his name and recognizing letters. He isn't just "smart", I learned from the book, "Bounce" that talent is born, it is learned.

bleh

The stomach flu wiped us out... and I have been really upset about some things in my life... so I haven't posted. As soon as I can come up with a positive, I will post about it. For now, we are all sick.

April so far...

Stephen playing with the boys... I love these moments.

Here are a few highlights from our lives this month. Things have been pretty smooth. A lot of changes are about to happen in our lives and we are a little apprehensive to say the least.

I had a buyer for my Condo back in February, but he decided the timing wasn't right. I wont lie, I was devastated; however, I truly believe when a door closes a window of opportunity will open. I put my house on the market for the first time and less than a week later I had TWO offers. I have submitted one to the bank and we shall see what happens.

Six years ago, Stephen signed up for Helicopter school. While attending the (very expensive) school, the owner took all the money and declared the school bankrupt. This was a huge set back for Stephen and I; however, as stated before, when a door closes, other opportunities open up. We moved to Albuquerque and now Stephen is working on the other side of the radio as and Air traffic controller. I might say this is a much better job and safer! When the school went bankrupt, this left all of the students with a hefty loan to pay back. Well, as none of the students received their full education they all decided to sue the school. After almost 4 years of being held up in the court system, the judge is about to make a decision. This will impact our lives tremendously. We will a) have to pay back all the loan, b) pay back a portion, c) or all will be forgiven. I am hoping for the C but most likely it will be B. This means we may need to move in order to cover the cost of the loan. We will know if May.

Edward dressed as a homeless man.

Edward loves Nolens toys more than Nolen.

Nolen just being a cute happy baby.

Counting Cars...

Not perfect, but so cute!

5 Months

Nolen is officially 5 months old today. He is such a cute little (I mean, BIG) guy. He is over 17 pounds and 25 inches long. He can sit for a while with the bobby surrounding him and he can roll from belly to back but he doesn't choose to do it often. He is not sleeping as well as he did before, but I think he is just hungry. I love him, I love him, I love him. He is mild and calm. He is wonderful.
