7 Months!

Has it been 7 months, already? Where has the time gone? I really can not believe Nolen is 7 months old today! He is so big and so happy. He is 20 pounds and roughly 26 inches tall. He is such a joy. We have been sleep training for the last month and it has resulted in... well, nothing. Nolen had one break through night where he slept 6 hours but has since reverted back to waking every 2 hours. We found out he suffers from pretty bad acid reflux and still has terrible gas. I suppose those two reasons are keeping him awake at night. Much to my avail, Nolen is officially teething. Poor little guy.
As far as milestones are concerned, he can get up on his hands and knees and attempts to take a few crawling steps. He can sit unassisted; however, he does not know how to get into a sitting position. He rolls all over the house. His very favorite spot remains the jumper. We just love this little guy. Every day he reminds me how awesome it is to be a Mom. I love him, I love him, I love him!

Your boys are so cute! So sorry Nolen isn't sleeping. Carter was like that the first couple of months and does it occasionally still. We switched him from Zantac to Prevacid for his acid reflux and it made a huge difference! He also sleeps propped up in a boppy at least for now. He is starting to wiggle enough he might grow out of it. Anyway hope you can find some meds that work good for you! My docs said the prevacid doesn't have the adverse side effects like some other acid drugs. So we're happy with it.

Wow! 7 months? He really is such a cute little guy...does he really have such perfect skin as in the photos? One of these days we'll get together for a little catch-up and let the kids play. Hang in there with the sleeping...he'll give up when he's ready. Try not to get him every time he wakes...he continue to wake up as a habit. Maybe every 4-6 hours you can reassure him you are there? Just a thought...although I'm sure you have tried everything.

WOW! It really has flown by! Sorry about the acid reflux and teething ruining the sleep training. :( That's a bummer. But at least he is a cutie!

I feel so bad for the poor little guy and his acid reflux! That stinks for all of you! Hope it gets better as he gets older!
